MiFID II: Update

The Committee published its report on the inquiry MiFID II: Getting it Right for the City and EU Financial on 10 July 2012. Following this report, the Committee has engaged in regular correspondence updates with the HM Treasury Financial Secretary, Rt Hon Greg Clark.

EU Sub-Committee A conducted an inquiry on Markets in Financial Instructments Directive and Regulation (MiFID II). The Committee published a report on 10 July 2012.  

The Government gave their response on 29 October 2012. The report was debated on 26 March 2013.
