The Joint Committee on the National Security Strategy was originally scheduled to take oral evidence from Rt Hon Theresa May MP, Secretary of State for the Home Department, on Monday 12 November. This has now been re-arranged for Monday 17 December 2012

This will be the fourth in a series of evidence sessions with senior ministers, and is expected to cover a range of national security issues including; civil contingencies, cyber security, policing and terrorism. The Committee expects to take evidence from the Defence Secretary on 5 December 2012.

The Committee took evidence from the International Development Secretary on 25 June 2012 and from the Foreign Secretary on 30 April 2012 (PDF PDF 133 KB).
