The Joint Committee on the Rookery South (Resource Recovery Facility) Order 2011 consisted of six Members appointed from both the House of Commons and the House of Lords
The Committee was established under section 5 of the Statutory Orders (Special Procedure) Act 1945. Five petitions against the Rookery South (Resource Recovery Facility) Order 2011 stood referred to the Committee under the Act, and the Committee was charged with hearing the case for and against the requests made in each of the five petitions. The Committee has now reported its decisions back to the two Houses. It approved the Order without amendment (for details see the Committee's report under the "publications" tab to the left).
The Committee has completed its consideration of the Order.
