Draft Investigatory Powers Bill to be considered by joint committee

The House of Lords appointed members of a Joint Committee to consider the draft Investigatory Powers Bill on 25 November 2015. The House of Commons appointed its members on 5 November 2015.

The Committee will publish its call for evidence in due course, stating the specific areas that the Committee will investigate. The Committee is expected to report by 11 February 2016.
