Purpose of the session

This first session of the Committee's inquiry will:

  • Enquire how the boundary reviews could influence the representation of women MPs in the next Parliament
  • Examine the role and action of political parties in promoting the number of women in the Commons
  • Look into the recommendations of The Good Parliament report on creating a more representative and inclusive House of Commons
