Due to the general election on 8 June 2017 the Committee has now closed this inquiry. Scope of the inquiry

Chancellor of the Exchequer, Philip Hammond, delivered his Spring Budget Statement to the House of Commons on Wednesday 8 March 2017.

The Treasury Committee questions the Office for Budget Responsibility and the Institute for Fiscal Studies as part of its inquiry into the Budget.
