The Chancellor of the Exchquer, the Rt Hon George Osborne MP, delivered his Budget statement to the House of Commons on Wednesday 21 March.

    The Committee held oral evidence hearings on Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th March. Evidence was taken from a range of industry experts, the Office for Budget Responsibilty, and the Chancellor of the Exchquer.

    The Committee published its Report on 18 April 2012 in time for Committee stage of the Finance Bill on the floor of the House.
