Following the Financial Policy Committee appointment hearings, on 4 and 12 June 2013, the Treasury Committee announced that it will conduct an inquiry both into the rules governing the appointment and conduct of members of the Bank of England’s FPC, MPC and Court and also into the independence of the FPC.
