The UK Space Agency was officially launched on 23 March 2010, replacing the British National Space Centre. The Agency is responsible for all strategic decisions on the UK civil space programme and provides a clear, single voice for UK space ambitions. The Science and Technology Committee held an evidence session examining the role of the UK Space Agency. The Committee has no plans to produce a Report.
