PASC to take evidence on the Future of the Civil Service

The Public Administration Select Committee (PASC) will take evidence from the Rt Hon Francis Maude MP, Minister for the Cabinet Office, in an extra session of the Committee’s inquiry into the Future of the Civil Service.

Issues

Particular issues to be explored may include:

  • Proposals to increase support for ministers;
  • the accountability of senior civil servants; and
  • the arguments for and against an independent review of the future of the Civil Service.
