Purpose of Session

This session continues the Committee's pre-legislative scrutiny of the Government’s proposals for the recall of MPs.  The purpose of the session is, first, to question an academic with expertise in electoral systems including recall, and secondly, to question a representative of the electoral administrators who would be required to conduct the recall petition.
