The Political and Constitutional Reform Committee concludes its scrutiny of the Government's proposals for introducing a statutory register of lobbyists

The purpose of this session is to hear from the Minister for Constitutional Reform on the rationale for the Government proposals for introducing a statutory register of lobbyists. 

The session will examine the evidence for the Government's proposals, and explore whether the proposals are likely to stop future scandals in lobbying.

This is the sixth and final session of the Committee's inquiry into the Government's proposals for introducing a statutory register of lobbyists.
