• The Coalition Government’s Programme of Political and Constitutional Reform  Inquiry announced 14 July 2010

  As part of its ongoing scrutiny into the work of the Deputy Prime Minister in the area of Political and Constitutional Reform, the Committee will periodically be taking evidence from the Deputy Prime Minister.

• Role and powers of the Prime Minister  Inquiry announced 21 January 2011

  The Committee is conducting an inquiry into the role and powers of the Prime Minister, this inquiry has been relaunched on 6 December 2012. Written submission welcome throughout February 2013.

• Mapping the path to codifying - or not codifying - the UK's Constitution  Inquiry announced 07 July 2011

  The Committee is conducting an inquiry in to codifying - or not codifying - the UK Constitution.

• Revisiting Rebuilding the House: the impact of the Wright reforms  Inquiry announced 13 December 2012

• House of Lords reform: what next?  Inquiry announced 21 January 2013

  The Political and Constitutional Reform Committee has decided to conduct an inquiry into what smaller-scale changes to the membership and structure of the House of Lords would be likely to command a consensus. The deadline for submissions is 26 March 2013
