Possible implications for Northern Ireland of the Daylight Saving Bill

Work concluded

The Daylight Saving Bill, a Private Member’s Bill introduced by Rebecca Harris MP, received its First Reading in the House of Commons on 30 June 2010. If enacted, it would "require the Government to conduct a cross-departmental analysis of the potential costs and benefits of advancing time by one hour for all, or part of, the year" and to take action based in light of that analysis.

The Northern Ireland Affairs Committee invited evidence on the possible implications for Northern Ireland of advancing time by one hour for all, or part of, the year.

Evidence received was circulated to the Committee and published on the Committee's website.
