Oral Evidence Session
Home Office—Managing Cuts
Tuesday 5 April 2011 at 11.30 am
Wilson Room, Portcullis House
Purpose of session:
This is the Committee’s first evidence session with Helen Ghosh, who took over from David Normington as Permanent Secretary at the Home Office on 1 January 2011. The session is an opportunity to ask Helen Ghosh about how the Home Office is progressing in managing the spending reductions announced in the Comprehensive Spending Review, as well as to question her on a variety of other topics in which the Committee is interested, including the new policing landscape. It is also a chance to ask Helen Ghosh more generally about what she hopes to achieve while at the Home Office.
At 11.30 a.m.
