Pre-legislative scrutiny of the draft Anti-Social Behaviour Bill - further information

Report

The Committee published its report on 15 February 2013.

Government Response

The Government responded to the Committee's Report on 16 April 2013.

Draft Bill

The draft Bill will give effect to the policies set out in the Government’s Anti-Social Behaviour White Paper, Putting Victims First (PDF) (Cm 8367)

The Home Office asked the Committee to report by mid-February so that the Bill can be re-drafted for possible inclusion in the 2013–14 legislative programme. The Committee therefore carried out this work to a very tight timetable which is largely beyond its control.
