On 6 February 2013 Robert Francis QC published his Report of the Mid Staffordshire NHS Foundation Trust Public Inquiry. He made nearly 300 recommendations, amongst which was the proposal that the Health Committee of the House of Commons should monitor the application of his recommendations by the professional regulators. The Health Committee shall be following up that recommendation.
