The Committee will hold the second of its two evidence sessions in its inquiry into FCO Performance and Finances. The session will focus on the performance and finances of the FCO’s two “associated” bodies – the BBC World Service and the British Council.
The Committee will also question Lord Patten, Chairman, BBC Trust on his views on the future and governance of the World Service, especially once funding responsibility for the World Service is transferred from the FCO to the BBC in April 2014.
