The Committee is continuing its practice of conducting an annual inquiry into the FCO's human rights work. This year's inquiry is based upon the FCO's 2012 Human Rights and Democracy Report, published on 15 April 2013. This inquiry is expected to look at the full range of FCO's human rights policy, with a particular focus on human rights and counter-terrorism, prevention of sexual violence in conflict and freedom of expression through the media.
