• Developments in UK Foreign Policy  Inquiry announced 26 July 2010

  One of two proposed twice-yearly evidence sessions with the Foreign Secretary covering the full range of the Foreign Secretary’s responsibilities

• Departmental Annual Report 2010-11  Inquiry announced 19 July 2011

  This inquiry focuses on how the FCO, and its associated bodies, are implementing spending cuts and adjusting to reduced Government spending. Attention will also be given to the recently announced changes to the FCO’s global network.

• British foreign policy and the 'Arab Spring'  Inquiry announced 18 July 2011

  This inquiry considers implications for British foreign policy of the ‘Arab Spring’, the contribution the UK can make to reform and reconstruction in Arab countries. The focus of the inquiry is on Egypt, Tunisia and Libya.

• EU Enlargement and Foreign Policy  Inquiry announced 21 July 2010

  The Committee conducts a ‘rolling’ inquiry into "EU Enlargement and Foreign Policy" to enable it to maintain a ‘watching brief’ on developments in these areas and UK Government policy relating to them.
