Committee to question Government Departments on transport accessibility

The Environmental Audit Committee will hold its third public evidence hearing of its inquiry, Transport and the accessibility of public services, at 2.10 pm on Wednesday 13 February in the Thatcher Room, Portcullis House.

In the third public evidence session on this inquiry the Committee will hear from officials from the Department for Education, Department of Health and the Department for Work and Pensions. The Committee will explore progress on improving the transport accessibility of public services overseen by these departments since the Making the Connections report. The Committee will also explore how transport accessibility is being taken account of in specific ‘flag ship’ policies (such as free schools and academies, NHS reforms, the Work Programme etc).
