The focus of this inquiry is to identify environmental measures needed in Autumn Statement 2012 and Budget 2013.The Committee will also explore the environmental aspects of Budget 2012, including measures announced to support further fossil fuel extraction and plans to improve or replace the Carbon Reduction Commitment. And progress against the Committee’s recommendations from its report on Budget 2011 and environmental taxes will also be examined.
