Scope of the inquiry

The Government has set up the Oil and Gas Authority (OGA) to maximise the recovery of UK offshore petroleum. The authority aims to do so by working with the industry to improve efficiency, revitalise exploration, drive investment and improve collaboration on decommissioning. The purpose of this one-off evidence session is to examine how exactly the OGA intends to fulfil these objectives.
