Purpose of the session

As part of its remit to hold the Department to account, the Committee regularly invites Michael Gove MP, Secretary of State for Education, to give oral evidence before them. This session will include questions from the public submitted via Twitter, and will focus on four areas: school places, children’s social care, careers guidance in schools and general questions.
