The Education Committee takes evidence from Sir Martin Narey as part of its inquiry into the independent review of children's residential care.

Focus of the session

The session will discuss the purpose, scope, and conduct of the review, especially in consideration of the large numbers of recent work in this policy area, including a report into children's residential homes by the previous Committee (PDF 362KB). The session will also explore Sir Martin's view on particular themes ahead of the publication of his report.
