Draft Local Audit Bill ad-hoc Committee

The House of Commons has established an ad hoc Committee on the draft Local Audit Bill to conduct Scrutiny of the Bill which makes provision to disband the Audit Commission and put in place a new audit regime, where local public bodies will be able to appoint their own auditors.
