National security capability review examined

The Defence Committee holds an evidence session with witnesses who have been in senior positions in the course of previous National Security Strategy/Strategic Defence and Security Reviews in order to gain military and civilian perspectives on the process of review and the potential impact on UK Defence.

  • Sir Mark Lyall Grant KCMG, Former National Security Adviser

Further aim of the session

The Committee will also explore the operational implications of some specific changes to capability which are reportedly being considered.
