The Committee investigated the work of local authorities in identifying the benefits and risks of mutuals and co-operatives including the support being provided by Government to assist in setting up mutuals and co-operatives. The Committee published its report in November 2012. The Government Response was published in February 2013.
The Communities and Local Government Committee held an inquiry into the Government’s plans for localism and decentralisation of public services. The Committee's report was published in June 2011. The Government response was published in September 2011.
