Access to EU's internal energy market after Brexit considered

The Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy Committee considers access to the European Union's internal energy market (IEM) and the future energy relationship between the UK and EU after Brexit.

Purpose of the session

The Committee asks how important access to the IEM and wider relations with the EU on energy are for the longer-term UK energy system. It also looks at the parameters, priorities and opportunities for a future relationship and concerns over transitional arrangements.
