The user engagement leads oversee key engagement activities within major projects in the Digital Service. They will be working with Members of both Houses and their staff, and staff from the two Houses to prepare them for the changes that will come with the implementation of new technology.
You will mostly work within Parliament’s Digital Portfolio (which comprises all of Parliament’s Digital projects and programmes) and, as such, these projects may range across the following: transformation of parliament’s administration and information systems and the associated business change and transformation of Parliament’s core technology, data and infrastructure.
The Office 365 Programme at Parliament is rolling out SharePoint Online Sites to all users across Parliament, and migrating documents from various source locations to these new Sites. As part of the Digital Collaboration team supporting the Programme, you will play a vital role in the initial build and configuration of these Sites.
The Senior Project Manager is a specialist role within the Digital Service, establishing, managing and continuously improving projects and project delivery within the Digital Portfolio. You will report to the relevant Programme or Portfolio Manager(s) and to the relevant project SRO/Executive(s).
User researchers work as part of agile multi-disciplinary teams to generate insight and feedback to help drive the development of new and existing services. You’ll be comfortable using a range of user research methodologies to produce actionable insight, and be confident and clear in explaining user needs to technical and non-technical colleagues.
As part of the Office 365 Programme, we need to migrate up to 50 terabytes of data from three source locations into Office 365. The three source locations are: shared drives, existing SharePoint sites and the organisation’s Electronic Document and Records Management System.
