Introduction

Groups from Birmingham have been working with Parliamentary Archives, Parliamentary Outreach and Birmingham Archives and Heritage to look at the history of the right to vote.

Parliamentary Archives and Birmingham Archives and Heritage worked with two groups of young local people to investigate the history of the women’s right to vote and the links between Birmingham and the suffragette movement.
