Weathering and atmospheric damage to the stonework is a concern throughout the building. A programme of stonework repairs and conservation is planned for the interior courtyards in the Palace, as well as some cleaning to stone within the rooms and corridors inside the building. A separate project of stone cleaning is planned for Westminster Hall, with cleaning of the interior walls and repairs to the north window.
