Members' Lobby is the name given to the hallway between Central Lobby and the House of Commons Chamber. Here MPs pick up messages and business papers and congregate during the sittings of the House before and after business in the Chamber. A prominent feature of Members' Lobby are the statues and busts which honour former British Prime Ministers, perhaps the most famous of which are the bronze statues of Winston Churchill and David Lloyd-George. It is said that if an MP rubs the foot of these bronze statues as they enter the Chamber it will bring good luck; as a result the feet of these statues have been worn down over the years!
