Competition prizes
On 8 July 2009, the Raw Deal or Truth Told? Young people in the media winning entrants:
received an all-expenses paid trip to Westminster (must be accompanied by a teacher/youth worker/parent/guardian)
toured the Houses of Parliament
met with the Lord Speaker
received a visit from the Head of Outreach in the House of Lords in advance of their visit to Westminster to help prepare them for discussing their submissions with the Communications Committee
had an opportunity to discuss their submissions with the Members of the House of Lords Communications Committee
won £25 for each member of the team (up to five people).
All entries were compiled by the Hansard Society into a report which was submitted to the House of Lords Communications Committee.
Please note that all entrants will receive a signed certificate from the Lord Speaker and Lord Fowler (chairman of the Communications Committee) acknowledging their contribution.
